The Imex Storm 5oM Steel Tape Measure is a highly accurate measuring tool for the trade professional. The long steel blade comes complete with a nylon laminated coating which helps deliver an outstanding life span.Featuring both metric and imperial graduations (metric on one side, imperial on the other) along its length for maximum convenience and topping out at 13mm wide for easy reading. The blade is easily cleaned and maintained thanks to the open ‘Z’ frame case design. The tape has a great soft handle grip and a cushioned end that stopped the tape from hitting hard at the end when winding it in.The blade is withdrawn back into the case by a dual-action winder, right-handed and left-handed folding handle and is rewound incredibly smoothly thanks to its balanced, scaled diameter blade drum. Unlike most long tapes (or surveyors’ tapes as they’re commonly known) this product has a blade locking mechanism providing for a firm blade hold.
